At our fragrance & candle bar, you can craft a custom scented candle, a non-flame home fragrance option or a body product!
The experience is not a class or workshop format. We operate just like a bar in that guests have the freedom to select whatever product(s) they'd like to make and pricing depends on what is selected.

What is the custom scent experience like - is it a class?
We are not a class/workshop format we are more like a bar! When you enter the studio, you'll be greeted & invited to pick out a "pour-your-own (PYO) product" to custom scent. Then you’ll explore our fragrance wall of over 80 scents to choose your favorites. When you are ready, our team will coach you through the simple process of blending fragrance oils and mixing into your product. You’ll be invited to decorate a label and our team will prepare your product for you to take home!
What kind of products can I custom scent?
In addition to candles (in a variety of styles and sizes to fit your personal style), we offer guests the opportunity to craft wax tarts, reed diffusers, car diffusers, aromatic mists/sprays, fragrance oil blends or several types of body/bath products: sugar scrubs, body creams, hand soaps, body washes and roll-on fragrances.
How much does it cost?
There is not a set price for the custom scent experience because we operate like a bar rather than a class/workshop format. Guests can make their own selection based on a budget or what they like. Candles range from $22 - $52, and container choices vary regularly throughout the seasons. Other home fragrance and body products range from $18 - $40. Click on our sample menu button below. We do not charge any sitting fees at our fragrance bar, so your cost will be the price of your product plus tax and optional gratuity.
Do I need a reservation or do you take walk-ins?
We highly recommend reservations. Walk-ins are accepted when our reservation calendar is clear or our team has the capacity to give walk-in pouring guests the 5-star service you deserve.
How do I make a reservation?
You can book a reservation online for parties of 1 - 15. Larger groups must book as a private party.
Can you accommodate special occasions, large groups and private parties?
Yes! Guests celebrating special events like birthdays and bachelorettes can use our standard online reservation system. If you have 16+ guests or want to book the whole studio refer to the page linked below.
Do you allow younger children to participate in the custom scent experience?
Yes, we do! The experience is a fun activity for families including children. We allow children to participate in the experience as long as they can follow directions from our bar staff, sit at a barstool by themselves, dispense fragrance oil from a bottle that is similar to a ketchup/mustard bottle, and stir wax and oil together that is about the temperature of hot dishwater. We do not recommend holding children in your lap while you are seated at the fragrance bar.
Can I host a pouring party for my child's birthday or other youth group at the studio?
Yes, we offer a fun, creative and educational activity for youth groups, school teams, Girl/Boy Scout troops and of course, your child's birthday! To keep things easy, we have two basic packages available for kids parties (minimum of 4 guests, 12 and under only please): Candles ($16/child): Includes crafting a custom label, blending 2 scents, and pouring into a 5 oz painted travel tin. Candles poured in these containers set up in 1-1/2 - 2 hrs, which is a perfect amount of time to take the kids of lunch or ice cream. They can always be picked up the next day as well. Aromatic Mists ($20/child): Use as a room/linen spray, body mist or both! Includes custom labels, blending 2 scents and pouring into a mister of their choice. These can be taken home right after blending! Note that we cannot accommodate food during our standard reservation slots.
Can I take my candle or wax tart home right away?
No, wax products take a little bit of time to harden and cure before they are ready to take home; however, all other products can be taken home at the end of your reservation! Candles take at least 3 hours and wax tarts at least 1.5 hours. If you would like to take home a custom-scented candle or wax tart on the same day, please plan to pour at least 4 hours before store closing time to ensure adequate time for us to package your special creation. Note that we do offer shipping!
What are your operating hours?
We are open daily, but hours can vary by season. Click below to see our current hours.
Can I bring my own food/drink in?
We allow you to bring your own beverages in while you pour, but we do not allow food in the studio for standard reservations. We do have a selection of non-alcoholic drinks for purchase.. If you are booking a private party, we do allow both food and drinks to be brought in.
